How does a broken pot make you think differently about a self-cleaning toilet? A rice cooker? A sex doll? In a world where the mechanical and the digital are stitched into our worldview, how does the way we treat objects bleed into how we view people? 

“Nimble Fingers, Slow Wit” explores the legacy of the Asian hand from craft through to automation, questioning the relationship between Othering people and machines.
