Yellow Door Double Floor was a group exhibition and an ode to friendship: a farewell to 231A, our flat. All the people who have lived between the two floors of our apartments were invited to honour the time spent living and working together as a collective of artists and friends.
‘Untucked’ is a love letter to friendship and watching drag race when you’re depressed. The writing includes a mixture of doctor’s notes, journal entires, mini-zines and a continuation of the poetry collection ‘leafing.’ The front in inspired by sea-side photo boards, and depicts the titular character leafing alongwith its writerly pet, ‘Pup.’ The viewer was invited to pose, and rip any writing they wanted from the board, dismantling the work over the weekend.
